The Saints and Packers met in the Thursday Night Football season opener – a battle of the previous two Super Bowl champions – at Lambeau Field. Rodgers finished 27 of 35 for 312 yards and three TDs and withstood a Saints’ rally led by Brees – who finished with 419 yards and three TDs.
Green Bay 28, New Orleans 27 (Sept. 30, 2012)
Rodgers and Brees put on another show at Lambeau Field. Rodgers finished with 319 yards, four TDs and an interception and threw the game-winning TD to Jordy Nelson in the fourth quarter. Brees finished 35 of 54 with 446 yards and three TDs.
New Orleans 44, Green Bay 23 (Oct. 26, 2014)
In their last Sunday Night Football matchup, Brees led the Saints to a 28-point second half in another blowout in the Superdome. Brees finished with 311 passing yards, three TDs and no interceptions. Rodgers, who suffered a leg injury during the game, finished with 418 passing yards, a TD and two interceptions.
