Roberto Firmino’s stoppage-time header lifted Liverpool to a late victory over Tottenham last time out and back to the top of the Premier League. The Reds were not at their best at Anfield, but managed to secure the three points. They now have the opportunity to put the pressure on their title rivals by extending their lead at the summit. Despite suffering a litany of injuries, Jurgen Klopp’s men are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions, highlighting the depth of their squad. 

Palace enter the contest unbeaten in their last three matches. Roy Hodgson’s men hammered West Brom 5-1 on the road before holding Tottenham to a draw on home soil. The Eagles were pegged back by West Ham after Christian Benteke’s opener last time out, and were forced to hang on for the final 20 minutes of the game after the Belgian was dismissed. Palace have incentive this afternoon as a victory over the Reds would lift them into the top half of the Premier League.
