That’s all for now. Thank you for following our live coverage. Until next time, goodbye!

Atletico will aim to get back to winning ways in La Liga when they welcome Villarreal on Saturday, while Huesca travel to Elche looking to get their first victory on the board.

It finishes all square at El Alcoraz, where Huesca have held Atletico Madrid to a goalless draw. In a game of few chances, the hosts will certainly be the happier of the two sides with that result.

90′ + 2′ Good save! Strong palms from Oblak, who beats away Mir’s shot from a tight angle. It would not have counted anyway, as the offside flag had already been raised.

90′ + 1′ There are going to be four minutes of stoppage time at the end of this game.

89′ GREAT SAVE! It is like a pinball machine in the Huesca area as the hosts are unable to clear their lines. The ball eventually breaks for Felix, whose volley is brilliantly kept out by Fernandez.

88′ As the clock ticks down, Atletico are very much in control. But can they turn their pressure into a winning goal?

85′ Five minutes remaining at El Alcoraz, where we are still goalless. This would be another hugely impressive point for Huesca if they could hold on.

Sergio Gómez

David Ferreiro

82′ Sergio Gomez is also introduced for Huesca, with Ferreiro making way.

82′ Another double-change from the hosts. The first sees Rico make way for Juan Carlos.

Javier Galán

Yellow Card

80′ Galan is shown the first yellow card of the game for a high challenge on Lodi.

79′ Great block! Atletico turn up the pressure and Koke is unmarked in the box, but he is denied by some terrific last-ditch defending from the hosts.

78′ Simeone urges his players on from the touchline as Felipe rises to meet Correa’s corner, but is unable to keep his header down.

77′ Koke scored in both of Atletico’s 3-0 victories over Huesca when the sides met in La Liga during the 2018-19 season. Can he make it third time lucky here?

75′ Third change for Atletico as Saul is replaced by Koke.

74′ Atletico look to find a way through and a diagonal ball is neatly cushioned into the path of Costa. However, Fernandez is bravely out of goal to deny the substitute.

72′ Lopez is unable to continue after picking up a knock. Gaston Silva comes on in his place.

70′ The other sees Rafa Mir introduced, with Okazaki given a rest.

Javi Ontiveros

Borja García

69′ A double-change coming up for the hosts. The first sees García make way for Javi Ontiveros.

66′ Just wide! Twisting and turning, Felix works his way into the Huesca box. Although his initial shot is blocked, the ball ricochets kindly for the highly-rated youngster. But his powerful right-footed effort flashes inches wide of the target.

64′ Not the dream full debut for Atletico that Suarez would have wanted. Following his impressive 19-minute cameo on Sunday, he would have been desperate to build on that today. His attention now turns to next weekend, when his new employers welcome Villarreal to Wanda Metropolitano.

62′ Suarez’s game is also over as he makes way to be replaced by Diego Costa.

61′ Atletico turn to the bench to make a double-change. First, Yannick Carrasco is introduced in favour of Llorente.

60′ Ferreiro played a key role in Huesca’s promotion last season. His tally of nine assists was only bettered in the Segunda Division by Adri Embarba of Rayo Vallecano.

59′ Half a chance! He’s been quiet so far, but Suarez finally has a sight on goal. The angle is tight as he latches onto a well-timed through ball and, although he tries to round Fernandez, the Huesca keeper stands firm to deny him.

57′ Chance! A hopeful long ball forward is only cleared as far as Ferreiro. The Huesca midfielder gets his shot away from the edge of the box, but it is straight at Oblak once again.

55′ Ferreiro stands over the set-piece and delivers an inviting ball into the box, which is headed towards goal but straight at Oblak.

54′ Meanwhile, Huesca have a free-kick in a decent position and it is a good opportunity for the defenders to head forward into the box.

51′ That is the closest either side has come to breaking the deadlock today. It was a brilliant effort from Llorente and that will encourage Atletico.

49′ Off the bar! Llorente is whiskers away from putting the visitors in front. The ball breaks kindly for the midfielder to strike after some delightful skills from Felix, but his 20-yard effort just clips the top of the crossbar.

46′ The referee blows his whistle and Huesca get the ball rolling once more.

46′ Atletico make a change at the break with Angel Correa coming on in place of Vitolo.

The message from both managers at half-time will be for their players to carry more of an attacking threat from the restart. The first goal could be crucial in this game.

Nothing to separate Huesca and Atletico Madrid, who go into half-time locked at 0-0. Chances have been few and far between with neither side demonstrating a great deal of creativity to break down each other’s stubborn defences.

44′ The hosts put a neat move together as Garcia and Ferreiro combine to pick out Rico’s late run into the box. However, the midfielder is unable to keep his first-time effort down as he sends the ball into the top of the stand behind the goal.

43′ We are into the final couple of minutes in this first half. Can either side find the opening goal in these latter stages?

40′ The visitors look to catch their opponents out with a long ball over the top of the defence. But Vitolo began his run too early and is rightly flagged offside.

38′ As ever, Simeone is glued to the Atletico touchline barking instructions at his players. He is now into his 10th season in charge of Los Rojiblancos, where he was won a La Liga title, two Europa League crowns and a Copa Del Ray, as well as reaching two Champions League finals.

35′ Both sides have struggled for rhythm over the past couple of minutes. They will be looking to finish the half in a strong manner and, ideally, break the deadlock in this contest.

33′ As for Atletico, they arrived in this game protecting a 17-match unbeaten run in La Liga stretching back to February, when they were beaten 1-0 by local rivals Real Madrid.

30′ Huesca certainly proving to be stubborn opposition as we hit the half-hour mark. It is worth remembering again that they have only been beaten twice at El Alcoraz in 2020.

27′ At the other end, Okazaki has a brief appeal for a penalty as he goes to ground under the challenge of Saul. The referee is not interested, though, and it would have been harsh in all fairness.

25′ The visitors are awarded a free-kick around 25 yards from goal after Saul is brought down. Felix looks to whip the ball towards the top corner, but there is too much height on his delivery.

23′ Still goalless as we pass the midway point in the first half. Atletico are enjoying a good spell in possession, but need to demonstrate more creativity to break down the stubborn Huesca defence.

21′ The former Leicester striker certainly brings plenty of experience to the Huesca front line. A Premier League title winner with the Foxes in 2016, he is Japan’s third-highest scorer with 50 goals, and fourth most-capped player with 116 internationals.

18′ Okazaki almost had a sight on goal as he looked to connect with a deep ball into the area from the right wing. However, Felipe read the cross well and was able to intervene in the nick of time.

16′ The hosts’ biggest threat today is likely to come from Okazaki. The Japanese international top-scored for Huesca last season with 12 goals as they gained promotion as Segunda Division champions. Prior to the defeat by Cadiz 10 days ago, he had scored in each of his side’s previous four home games.

13′ Mind, Huesca are certainly holding their own inside the opening quarter of an hour. Rico and Garcia link up on the edge of the area, with the former’s shot deflecting behind for a corner. The visitors deal with the danger, though.

11′ Atletico beginning to get into their stride as they link a neat move together on the edge of the box, but the eventual cross into the area is cleared.

9′ The hosts have already earned creditable draws against Villarreal and Valencia at the start of this season. Could they claim a huge scalp here?

6′ At the other end, Huesca are awarded their first corner following a dangerous attack. However, Atletico deal with the set-piece quite comfortably.

4′ Atletico almost find their way in behind as Felix looks to slip the ball through to Lodi. But the ball ricochets off the left-back and out for a goal kick.

2′ A positive start from the visitors sees them force a corner inside the opening minute. However, the hosts deal with Trippier’s delivery.

1′ The referee blows his whistle and Atletico get us underway!

The players are coming out onto the field. Kick-off is moments away.

Atletico were 3-0 winners on each occasion that the sides met during the 2018-19 season – Huesca’s sole previous campaign in La Liga. They will be heavy favourites for another comfortable victory here, but the hosts have only been beaten twice at El Alcoraz in 2020.

The big team news coming out of Atletico’s camp is that Luis Suarez makes his first start for the club today. Fresh from two goals and one assist in a 19-minute cameo on Sunday, the former Barcelona striker is one of five changes to the side that started the rout of Granada. Meanwhile, there are recalls for Thomas Partey, Marcos Llorente and Vitolo in midfield, along with Mario Hermoso in defence. Jan Oblak wears the captain’s armband in the absence of Koke, who drops to the bench.

Huesca coach Michel makes two changes to the side that earned a creditable 1-1 draw at Valencia on Saturday. The experienced Mikel Rico replaces Juan Carlos in midfield, while there is a first start of the season for Borja Garcia, who takes Rafa Mir’s place in the three-man attack alongside David Ferreiro and former Leicester City striker Shinji Okazaki.
