According to a recent report from the Mirror, Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign Lille midfielder Renato Sanches.
The belief is that the Portuguese star will make his way over to Anfield for a fee of around £18 million, even though he has a contract with Lille that is currently set to last until the summer of 2023.
While many believe that the Reds have a complete squad, especially in the wake of how many youngsters have been able to step up following a string of injuries, Jurgen Klopp is always on the look out for something different.
There’s no guarantee that Sanches is going to be a bonafide first teamer on Merseyside, especially after the season that Liverpool have had, but reinforcements can never be viewed as a bad thing. Klopp knows the rest of the campaign is going to be hectic and if Sanches comes in during the January transfer window, he can help out with that.
