That’s all for today. Thank you for following our live coverage of LaLiga. Until next time, goodbye!

Los Blancos aim to continue their momentum when they travel to Levante on Sunday. Meanwhile, the previous day, Valladolid look to get their first win of the season on the board at home to Eibar.

Vinicius Junior was the hero as he climbed off the bench to score the decisive goal in Real Madrid’s 1-0 victory over Real Valladolid. That takes Zinedine Zidane’s men onto seven points from their opening three LaLiga games.

90′ + 3′ Marcelo is booked for a foul on Villa.

90′ There are going to be three additional minutes at the end of this game.

87′ Activity on the Real Madrid bench as well, with Benzema making way for Borja Mayoral.

87′ Valladolid turn to the bench once more as Michel makes way for Jawad El Yamiq.

85′ As for Valladolid, this would be a fifth defeat in six on the road unless they can find a dramatic equaliser.

83′ As things stand, the hosts are on course to stretch their unbeaten run in LaLiga since lockdown to 14 matches. Can they hold on for all three points?

80′ Real Madrid are a goal to the good as we enter the final 10 minutes. The finish line is in sight for Zidane’s men, but they will not be taking anything for granted just yet. A second goal would certainly have them breathing a lot easier.

78′ Casemiro has his name taken for a rash challenge on Garcia.

77′ Great defending! A golden opportunity for Real Madrid to double their lead as Benzema gets away from the defence. Under pressure from Garcia, he squares the ball for Vinicius, but the Valladolid full-back tracks him all the way and makes a vital challenge.

76′ Valladolid are certainly not out of this contest yet by any means. They have responded very well to falling behind and need to maintain their pressure.

74′ Meanwhile, Toni Villa is introduced with Weissman making way.

Sergi Guardiola

Waldo Rubio

74′ That was Rubio’s last action as he is replaced by Sergi Guardiola.

73′ Great effort! The visitors refusing to lie down and Rubio lets fly with a powerful 30-yard effort that Courtois is forced to turn over.

72′ Asensio whips in the free-kick, but it is too high for his team-mates and the ball runs behind for a goal kick.

71′ At the other end, the hosts look to press home their advantage and are awarded a free-kick on the edge of the area after Vinicius is body-checked by Gonzalez, who is booked for his troubles.

69′ Good save! Valladolid look to respond immediately and Garcia tries to catch out Courtois from a tight angle. However, Real Madrid’s number one demonstrates great reflexes to push the shot away to safety.

67′ An inspired substitution from Zidane as Vinicius opens the scoring within seven minutes of coming on. Valladolid appeal for offside and although the Brazilian was ahead of the last defender, the last touch did come off a visiting player to present the chance that he took.

65′ GOAL!!! 1-0 TO REAL MADRID! Vinicius with the breakthrough! The substitute comes up with the goods for the hosts. The Brazilian is in the right place as the balls ricochets kindly into his path, before applying a cool finish from close range.

64′ Valladolid make their second change as San Emeterio goes off to be replaced by Marcos Andre.

63′ Kike Perez replaces Orellana is Valladolid’s first change of the game.

63′ The hosts threaten and Marcelo cuts back onto his right foot in the box, but gets it all horribly wrong as his effort eventually goes out for a throw-in.

61′ Zidane’s intentions are clear as he looks to boost his attacking threat with the introduction of Asensio and Vinicius. Can they make a difference as we enter the final half an hour of this game?

Vinícius Júnior

L. Jović

58′ Meanwhile, Vinicius Junior is also introduced for the hosts, with Jovic making way.

57′ The second change sees Marco Asensio replace Isco.

57′ A triple-change from Real Madrid. The first sees Dani Carvajal replace Odriozola.

56′ Valladolid’s impressive spell continues as a dangerous ball is delivered from the left flank, and Ramos is forced to intervene in the nick of time.

54′ GREAT SAVE! Brilliant reflexes from Courtois, who gets down well to keep out Weissman’s low drive following a quickfire counter by the visitors.

51′ Zidane will wonder how Real Madrid are not in front after that. Nevertheless, the hosts should use that moment to spur them on into finding that elusive opening goal.

48′ HOW DID THAT STAY OUT?! From a Real Madrid corner, Jovic’s header is well-saved by Jimenez, before Casemiro crashes his follow-up effort against the bar from inside the six-yard box.

46′ Valladolid get the ball rolling once more in the second half.

Zidane will be urging his players to demonstrate a greater attacking threat after the break, while Gonzalez shall encourage Valladolid to maintain their defensive discipline for the remainder of the contest.

We are goalless at the break with Real Valladolid holding Real Madrid. The hosts have had the better chances in the first half, but have been unable to turn them into the opening goal of the contest as of yet.

42′ As the space opens up in front of him, Rubio tries his luck from distance, and his effort is not too far away in all fairness.

40′ We are into the final five minutes of the first half, where both sides are still searching for the breakthrough. The longer the scoreline remains like this, the more that Valladolid are likely to grow in confidence.

38′ There were question marks over whether Jovic would partner Benzema up front today after he failed to make an impact against Betis. However, Zidane has kept faith with the Serbian, who will be desperate to make the most of his opportunity.

35′ Side-netting! That is the closest Real Madrid have come to breaking the deadlock so far. Modric and Jovic neatly link up, with the latter’s effort just going the wrong side of the post.

34′ The visitors are unable to make the most of that chance as the hosts deal with the free-kick without too many difficulties.

33′ Valladolid are awarded a free-kick near the touchline and this is a good opportunity for them. They will be desperate to make the most of it.

30′ Still goalless as we hit the half-hour mark. Real Madrid have carried the greater threat, but Valladolid look dangerous on the counter as they just demonstrated.

28′ A let-off for the hosts as Valladolid launch a quickfire counter attack. Plano is well-found at the far post, but his square ball is cut out by Odriozola with Weissman lurking.

26′ The Frenchman top-scored for Real Madrid last season with 27 goals in all competitions. Meanwhile, his tally of 21 in LaLiga was only bettered by a certain Lionel Messi.

24′ Benzema has endured a quiet game so far, but you would not bet against him finding the net at some point. After all, he has done so three times in as many meetings between the sides.

21′ In fairness to Isco, Benzema was going for the same ball and that may well have been enough to put the Spaniard off.

20′ The hosts turn up the pressure and Odriozola sends an inviting ball to the far post, where Isco is unable to head it towards goal.

17′ Chance! Valverde springs the offside trap to race onto a through ball in behind the Valladolid defence. He squares it for a sliding Jovic, who is unable to keep his shot down.

16′ Real Madrid are aiming to record an eighth consecutive home win today. You have to go back to May 2019 for the last time they suffered defeat in LaLiga on home soil.

13′ Those were the first warning signs for Valladolid. The defence remained solid on that occasion, but they must maintain that level of concentration for the remainder of this game.

10′ A first sight on goal for the hosts as Marcelo bursts into the box in trademark fashion, but Sanchez is well-placed to make a vital block. Valverde’s follow-up effort is deflected wide of the target.

8′ Valladolid are aiming to end a run of five games on the road without a win, four of which have ended in defeat. Could they do it today?

6′ An early half-chance for the visitors sees Weissman well-found in the box, but his tame volley is easy enough for Courtois to gather.

3′ The hosts have quickly settled into their rhythm and are enjoying almost all of the possession. It is early days yet, but it already looks like it is going to be a long game for Valladolid.

1′ Off we go! The referee blows his whistle and Real Madrid get us underway.

The players are making their way out onto the field. Kick-off is fast approaching.

Real Madrid are heavy favourites for this contest and the history books back that up. In fact, they are unbeaten in 11 meetings with Valladolid, who were last triumphant in this fixture in November 2008.

Meanwhile, Sergio Gonzalez makes five alterations from Sunday’s draw with Celta Vigo. Among them is Michel, who returns to captain the side, while Shon Weissman leads the line. Pablo Hervias, Oscar Plano and Waldo Rubio are also recalled to the starting XI.

Zidane makes four changes to the side that started Real Madrid’s win at Betis. Alvaro Odriozola and Marcelo are recalled on either side of the four-man defence, while Luka Modric and Isco also return to the starting line-up. Eden Hazard, Toni Kroos and Eder Militao miss out through injury.
